History: In 1999, a 9000 m2 plot of land with a beach frontage spanning 90 metres was purchased with the vision to build a small resort.

Five villas, a swimming pool and a small restaurant were then built. In 2010, PT Poinciana was founded by the sister and brother team of Nyoman & Made. And in 2012, the adjacent land was developed.

The expansion saw the addition of six more villas, a private 4 bedroom house, laundry facilities, a spa treatment centre, front office and reception area, a retail shop, yoga space, a new kitchen and an additional swimming pool.

Since the expansion, the original villas have been renovated and maintenance has been kept up with the last project being the complete renovation of the Family Villa, completed in July, 2014.
